The Opportunity

A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver a major substation project as part of a significant UK infrastructure upgrade programme. This is a high-profile scheme involving greenfield site development, complex civil works, and large-scale construction activity.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a flagship project within the UK's evolving energy infrastructure sector.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead end-to-end construction delivery on a large-scale project (£30m+)
Manage site teams, subcontractors, and programme performance
Drive HSE compliance and quality standards on site
Oversee design coordination and procurement
Take commercial ownership (budget, risk, delivery outcomes) What We're Looking For

Senior Project Manager / Project Manager background in civils or infrastructure
Experience delivering major projects (£30m+)
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3 / NEC4)
Background in energy, utilities, or substations (highly desirable)
SMSTS (essential)
