Logistics Coordinator

A client of ours in the Debenham, Suffolk area are recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm (37.5 hours per week) and paying from £29,500 per annum, depending on experience.

Your key duties in this Logistics Coordinator role will include but are not limited to:

Monitor shared and personal inboxes, responding to customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
Prepare packing lists, commercial invoices and shipping documentation for customers and freight forwarders.
Obtain freight quotations and arrange collections for export shipments.
Liaise with customers, freight forwarders and internal teams regarding deliveries, queries and shipment updates.
Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls professionally.
Produce weekly customer reports and maintain accurate logistics records.
Coordinate container collections and provide support to the wider Logistics team as required.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:

Proven experience in a similar logistics or shipping coordination role, ideally with export experience.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Language at Grade 4 (C) or above.
