Great opportunity to help implement a new significant scale contract in Suffolk, supporting the mobilisation and implementation to ope rationalise this new provision which stretches across Suffolk, covering a range of accommodation based services.

Fixed Term Contract - ending on the 30th September 2026

Part time - 18.75 hours per week

£22183.42 per annum (Basic Salary)

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with central support colleagues to ensure that all areas of the new service are effectively implemented - including HR, Finance, Estates, Quality, H&S, IT and SUL.
  • Develop local external relationships and partnerships with appropriate stakeholders to ensure a joined‑up approach to implementation.
  • Working alongside HR, to support staff who are transferring to Together via a TUPE process, ensuring their transition Together is effectively managed.
  • Manage the recruitment process to ensure that we employ competent staff for services within the context of Together’s recruitment policy and procedures.
  • Keep abreast of national, local and community initiatives, which impact upon current services or may lead to the development of new services and share knowledge with colleagues and managers.
  • Develop and sustain professional working relationships with funders, commissioners and other relevant agencies.
  • Ensure process is in place to support service users, staff and relevant individuals/agencies in developing quality assurance processes, including any data transfer for new and existing services.
  • Ensure effective communication across and within each service and the wider organisation.
  • Support the transition and handover to a permanent Suffolk contract manager when appointed.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Essential
  • Demonstrable experience of leading and managing a diverse portfolio of accommodation services, delivering complex needs requirements within a formal governance and regulatory process.
  • Experience of managing resources and budgets and a proven track record of delivering financial balance, sustainability and value for money.
  • An understanding and experience of involving service users in their own care and support to inform service design and delivery and shape organisational strategy.
  • Ability to recognise, engage and communicate with stakeholders and partners, enabling Together to deliver its vision, fulfil its purpose and achieve its strategic goals.
  • Excellent leadership skills, influencing and negotiation skills and demonstrable professional credibility and resilience.
  • A deep and meaningful understanding of Together’s values and ethos and how these are developed in the workforce and through our service.
Desirable
  • Previous experience of implementing services within a health and social care setting.
  • Experience of operational and capacity planning to meet organisational performance targets.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the voluntary and community sector.
