Practice Nurse – Maternity Cover (Suffolk)

Join a friendly GP practice in rural Suffolk as a locum practice nurse covering maternity leave. This is a 6‑month assignment, starting ASAP, with a minimum 28 hours per week plus sickness cover.

• Provide 1‑to‑1 clinical care, including chronic disease management (IHD, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, COPD).
• Monitor diabetic patients and conduct long‑term condition monitoring.
• Perform childhood immunisations, travel consultations and vaccinations.
• Carry out cervical sampling and pharmacy‑related checks for pills and HRT.
• Conduct standard dressings, suture removal, ECGs, venepuncture and injections.

• Experienced practice nurse with a proven track record in primary care.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, ability to deliver high‑quality care safely and effectively.
