The Street Lighting Operative Role
You'll support the installation, maintenance and repair of street lighting, signage and highway electrical equipment. The role involves working as part of a small operational team to deliver safe and compliant works across the region. Daily tasks include fault finding, replacing lanterns and columns, testing electrical circuits, and ensuring all work meets current standards and procedures.

Street Lighting Operative - Essential Skills

* Previous experience in electrical, construction, highways or a similar hands-on environment

* Ability to work safely with hand tools, access equipment and lifting operations

* Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills

* A full UK driving licence

* Electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, ECS, G39) are beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided
