No.1 Site Manager (New Build Residential) | Permanent | Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
A leading Regional Main Contractor that build, refurbish and regenerate homes and communities across the UK have an excellent opportunity for a No.1 Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
The company are an innovative and ambitious business that combine their industry expertise and unrivalled local knowledge to help transform communities and leave a lasting legacy everywhere they work.
The business is thriving and they currently have a large number of projects ongoing and in the pipeline, particularly on the new build side. They are due to start working on a new project soon comprising 115 homes on a 10 acre site. The project value is circa £25m and consists of one bedroom flats and bungalows through to four bedroom family houses.
They are looking for a No.1 Site Manager to oversee this project from start to finish, reporting to a Contracts Manager. The ideal person will have a strong track record overseeing similar projects for a reputable house builder.
Experience:
- Ideally Degree qualified or other relevant construction qualification
- Track record working on new build residential projects for a reputable main contractor or residential developer
- Experience building homes using traditional construction methods
- Career focused and driven to succeed
- First Aid, SMSTS, CSCS
- Able to work in / commute to Bury St Edmunds on a daily basis
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + package
