Dental Hygienist - Suffolk, VA
Heartland Dental is hiring a part-time Dental Hygienist in Suffolk, VA. Our team is family-oriented and focused on improving our office and service. Virginia RDH license is required.

Suffolk Complete Dental Care, 6255 College Drive, Suffolk, VA 23455
- Provide quality dental hygiene care to patients in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
- Maintain and improve patient education and preventive care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology and practice standards.
- Hours:
Tuesday 7:30-5:00, Wednesday 7:30-5:00, Thursday 7:30-5:00 - Pay: $53-55/hr

- Current Virginia dental hygienist license and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- 2 years of clinical experience
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills
- Clinical needs as required by the office
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Availability to attend virtual or in-person training periodically
- TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (not applicable in FL & TN)
