Summer Camp Teacher for STEM / Technology Camps

Join Black Rocket Productions as a Lead Instructor for our summer STEM and technology camps. This seasonal position runs from June for 4–10 weeks and provides paid training.

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our summer programs. The role involves teaching 6–14 year old children coding (Python, JavaScript, Lua, etc.), robotics, 3D modeling, Minecraft, Roblox, video editing, and other tech subjects.

• Lead up to 12 students in a single class or 25 students with an assistant in larger groups.
• Manage classroom resources and safely transfer equipment between sites.
• Deliver engaging lessons that integrate hands‑on technology projects.
• Participate in online training before summer start, at own pace.
• Support a positive learning environment for all students.

• Located within driving distance of a partner region with reliable transportation.
• Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required.
• Strong technology skills in areas such as 3D modeling, coding, game creation, robotics, video editing, digital arts, or significant experience with Minecraft or Roblox.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no work sponsorship or accommodations offered.
• Available to work a minimum of four weeks, Monday through Friday.
• Must love working with kids.

• Age 21 or older.
• College degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology, or related fields, or significant relevant experience.
• Experience teaching or working with children in a formal or informal setting is desirable.
• Ability to lead a class solo or with an assistant.

• Rate: $18–$24 per hour, based on experience, location, and availability.
