The role
We are seeking a driven, geoenvironmental engineer to join our growing Ground Investigation team in Suffolk. You will be part of a dynamic team undertaking a wide variety of projects, delivering high quality ground investigations and providing innovative and sustainable solutions in aspects of geotechnical and environmental consultancy. You will be responsible for projects from instruction through to report delivery, liaising with clients, project managers, regulators and the broader project team.
As a geoenvironmental engineer your time will be split roughly 50/50 between sitework and desk work. Travel is required to sites across the country as necessary which is either in company vehicles or by rail, with travel costs (including overnight stays and travel time) paid for by the company.

As well as mentoring junior engineers, we actively encourage CPD and you will be supported to work towards relevant charter ships or accreditations to support your areas of interest and specialties as they develop.
Whatwe need from you
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within the field
- BSc (2:1 minimum) in Geology, Environmental Science, Geography, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within the field
- Experience of siteworks and interpretive report writing
- Strong organisational skills, team ethic and a pro-active attitude
- Full driving license
- Expect to sit the necessary courses, medical, drug and alcohol screening tests as required
- Competitive salary (£28k – £35k depending on experience)
