Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our clinical team by assisting with medication‑related tasks and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, proactive, and passionate about helping patients navigate their healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service to patients, providers, and pharmacy partners
  • Process medication refill requests and prior authorizations using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Assist patients in accessing pharmaceutical assistance programs
  • Maintain, monitor, and track the dispensing of on‑site medication samples
  • Build and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical representatives
  • Field incoming calls from pharmacies to provide prescription clarifications, refill authorizations, and medication interaction support
  • Respond to patient phone calls regarding medication questions, concerns, or messages for the provider
  • Perform general administrative duties as requested by physicians and office managers
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Pharmacy Technician license (must be maintained in good standing)
  • Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, medical terminology, and insurance payor requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and a welcoming, patient‑first attitude
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Willingness to travel to satellite offices as needed
