General Statement of Duties:
Clinician will provide phone triage and high level clinical services to adult clients with mental health, co‑occurring and substance use disorders. Provide assessment for individuals seeking services and/or comprehensive intakes, crisis intervention as needed, group, individual counseling, Provide some group counseling for offenders, court ordered, co‑occurring individuals. Provide limited case management services and referral for targeted case management;
Report all clinical and administrative functions via electronic health record and paper reporting mechanisms. Manage a clinical record for each client meeting quality assurance standards for state licensure, CARF, and the GMA Interventions Quality Assurance Unit.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities required for the position:
- Must have knowledge and experience in individual and group counseling and supportive recovery services for persons with substance abuse and mental health disorders. (Co‑occurring)
- LMHP-eligible PREFERRED CSAC/CSAC S REQUIRED
- Clinician will hold a degree in the behavioral sciences from an institution of higher learning and/or at least 1 year experience in a community‑based drug/alcohol treatment and mental health setting.
