Registered Dietitian for the Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehab Program

Full-time, Day Shift 36-40 hours/week
Responsibilities include assessment and nutritional management of acute and chronic disease in the outpatient setting. This may include individual and group counseling, culinary nutrition, community outreach, public education, and scheduling. Develops and/or implements a comprehensive care plan based on assessment and evaluation of patient/caregiver needs.
Nutrition assessment of a wide variety of acute and chronic disease states, individual and group counseling, culinary nutrition. Serves as a Sentara representative for health fairs, media outreach, and community presentations. Communicates and collaborates with providers and other members of the healthcare team for referrals, clinical diagnostic data, weekly rounds, and any other patient care meetings as needed.
Education- Bachelors Degree (Required)
- Registered Dietitian RD (Required)
- BLS is required to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Two years related experience in clinical nutrition (Required)
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $72,051.20 - $ annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
Note:
If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
