Weare seekingan SA Peer Specialist for our PACT Community program
Responsibilities and Duties for SA Specialist:
- Function as a role model to peers
- Exhibit competency in personal recovery and use of coping skills, serve as a consumer advocate, and provide consumer information and peer support for consumers in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Promote community socialization, recovery, self-advocacy, self-help, and development of natural supports.
- Performa wide range of tasks to assist peers in regaining independence within the community and mastery over their own treatment goals.
- Assist and guide consumers toward achievement of specific goals identified by the consumer and specified in the Individual Service Plan (ISP).
- Must be credentialed for C-SAC
, or Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) - Experience working with adults with co-occurring serious mental health illness and/or substance abuse disorders
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable DMV record
- Preferred:
Experience in using various computer software applications and/or Electronic Health Record
- Health Insurance/Life Insurance
- Retirement/Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
- Vacation/Sick leave
