Resilient Tech Talent is seeking a GIS Programmer Analyst to support the City of Suffolk’s IT initiatives. This role involves project-based work that varies by assignment, providing flexibility and exposure to diverse technical environments in the public sector.
Location: Suffolk, VA (On-site work required; some roles may allow limited hybrid flexibility)
Employment Type: W-2, Project-Based
Hourly Pay Rate: $42.59/hour
Primary Responsibilities- Customize and enhance GIS software using scripting/programming languages.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years with GIS
- Experience with GIS coding skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Some roles may require fingerprinting or CJIS background checks, administered at Suffolk Police Headquarters.
- Conversion to full-time City employment may be possible.
