Description:
Join a dynamic team supporting critical Joint Training initiatives for the Department of Defense (DoD) as an Information Systems Project Architect. In this hands‑on role, you will design, architect, and optimize secure information systems, with a focus on the JS J7 Joint Training Dev Sec Ops pipeline, core infrastructure, and data center operations.
This 100% onsite position offers the opportunity to contribute to high‑impact DoD programs, driving innovative data architectures and secure Dev Sec Ops practices in a mission‑critical environment. You'll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions that enhance joint training capabilities while mentoring staff and ensuring alignment with DoD standards.
Required Skills / Education- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (one of the following):
Security+ CE, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), RHCSA, or RHCDS - Relevant functional area certification (required prior to start date)
- Master's degree in a related field OR at least 10 years of experience in data design, strategy, and architecture (preferably in consulting or internal roles), including developing innovative solutions and mentoring teams
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting DoD major systems or programs
- Proven expertise in information systems architecture, data center operations, Dev Sec Ops pipelines, secure infrastructure design, and DoD compliance
