Senior IT Specialist Security Clearance

This role is 100% onsite.

• Server Administration:
  Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022), including Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and DNS services.
• Virtualization Management:
  Manage the VMWare vSphere infrastructure, including vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, and virtual machine lifecycle.
• Security & Hardening:
  Implement and maintain system security by applying DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and performing regular vulnerability assessments and remediation using tools like ACAS/Nessus.
• Patch Management:
  Oversee server patching and updates using WSUS or other enterprise patch management solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure system integrity.
• Automation:
  Utilize Power Shell scripting to automate routine administrative tasks, system deployments, and security configurations.
• Monitoring & Performance:
  Monitor server and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high levels of availability and reliability.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work with cybersecurity and network teams to ensure the server infrastructure is secure, compliant, and integrated with other enterprise systems.

Secret or Top-Secret Clearance Certifications (IAT Level III)

• SecurityX
• CCNP Security
• CISA CISSP (or Associate)
• GCED
• GCIH Required Skills
• Proven experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Hands-on experience managing a VMWare vSphere/vCenter virtualized environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or 5 years equivalent professional experience.

• Advanced certifications such as VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), MCSE:
  Core Infrastructure, or CISSP.
• Strong proficiency in Power Shell scripting for automation.
• In-depth knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies and STIG implementation.
• Experience with enterprise backup and storage solutions.
