School Nurse
**** Location :
Suffolk County, NY
**** Schedule :
Monday - Friday :
School Hours****(with potential for bus rides or after school needs )
**** Pay** : $38 / hour - $48 / hour
** Position Overview :
** We are hiring LPNs and RNs to provide 1:1 care for students in school settings . This includes monitoring health conditions, administering medications, and ensuring the student's safety throughout the school day. You'll work closely with school staff , families , and our clinical team to deliver exceptional care.
** Qualifications :
*** LPN or RN License issued by NYS
* Current CPR/BLS Certification
* Pediatric or School Nursing experience preferred
* Ability to work independently in a school setting
* Communicate with families , school staff , and healthcare providers
** Compensation :**
* ** LPN : $38/hour**
* ** RN : $48/hour**
* ** Weekly pay - direct deposit**
* ** Overtime opportunities available
**** Responsibilities:
*** Perform patient care duties and treatments as per care plan.
* Provide health promotion, counseling, and education.
* Administer medications and other personalized interventions.
* Coordinate care, in collaboration with a wide array of health care professionals.
* Document nursing notes regarding patient care daily.
* Must be able to lift 50lbs.
* Must be able to stand/work for extended periods
* Additional responsibilities as required.
