Emergency Room RN - Travel Nurse (Suffolk, VA)

We’re looking for Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Suffolk, VA. The ideal RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.

• Work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage, and implement patient care per protocols and physician orders.
• Provide minor medical operations; advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Perform bedside care, wound cleaning and bandaging, IV therapy, maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop without difficulty, lift up to 20 pounds (or 50 pounds when moving patients).

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certification. 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Valid RN license (VA). Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Full‑time, travel assignment. Must be able to cope with a fast‑paced, urgent environment and provide care for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
