• Complete opening duties:
  • Set up workstation with required tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Inspect cleanliness and working condition of all tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Check production schedule and pars.
  • Establish priority items for the day.
  • Inform the Chef/Kitchen Manager of any supplies that need to be requisitioned for the day.
  • Transport supplies from the storeroom and stock in designated areas.
• Start prep work on items needed for the particular menu of the day.
• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides according to department standards.
• Inform Chef/Kitchen Manager of any shortages before the item runs out.
• Inform F&B service staff of 86'd items and the amount of available menu specials throughout the meal period.

• One year experience as a line cook at a hotel or full‑service restaurant.
• Ability to obtain Food Handling and Sanitation Certification within four weeks of hire.
• Commensurate or transferable skill set is of primary importance.
• Good attitude and work ethic to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to guest satisfaction criteria.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
