Brightway Insurance is Hiring a Full-Time Agency Sales Manager in Suffolk, VA!

Brightway Insurance in Suffolk, VA is seeking a driven Agency Sales Manager to help lead and grow a local agency from the ground up. This is a ground-floor opportunity within a family-style agency backed by one of the fastest-growing insurance brands in the country. This is an on-site position
, Monday–Friday from 9:00am–5:00pm, located in a prime Suffolk, VA location
. You’ll be stepping into a fun, energetic, yet hardworking culture where collaboration, accountability, and results go hand in hand. The role offers a base, plus commission structure
, with leads provided to help drive consistent sales activity.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily office operations, including administrative workflows, scheduling, and front-desk activity

Drive new business sales in personal and commercial lines through provided leads and outbound sales conversations

Consult with prospective and existing clients to assess risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage

Maintain accurate client and policy data in agency systems (CRM / AMS)

Stay current on underwriting guidelines, product changes, and carrier markets

Support agency branding and marketing initiatives and contribute ideas to grow the book of business

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum of 3 years of insurance sales experience (personal, commercial, or both), required

Active Virginia Property & Casualty license is required at time of application

Ability to work on-site Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and entrepreneurial mindset

Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable taking ownership of results

Compensation:
Salary + Commission

Average first-year total earnings: $50–75K+

Lucrative upside for high performers
