As a Security Officer - Aero Facility Security Clearance in Suffolk, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to the specific needs of an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activities.
• Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel to relay important information and updates.
• Document incidents and observations in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
