About the Company: Goliath Construction Consulting focuses on commercial electrical contracts. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman in Suffolk, Virginia, for a leading commercial electrical contractor.

Position Summary: The Electrical Foreman is responsible for leading field crews and ensuring all electrical installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with codes and project specifications. This position requires strong leadership, problem‑solving ability, and a deep understanding of commercial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily work of electricians and apprentices on‑site.
  • Plan manpower, materials, tools, and schedules to meet project goals.
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
  • Maintain compliance with NEC and OSHA standards.
  • Lead safety meetings and enforce job site safety policies.
  • Perform quality checks on installations and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and inspectors.
  • Train and mentor apprentices and journeyman electricians.
  • Track productivity and provide daily progress updates.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience as a Foreman or Lead Electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and installation methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
