Apply for the Warehouse Selector role at Quality Custom Distribution (QCD), a custom last‑mile distribution company serving food service clients across the United States.

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. You’ll work in a fast‑paced, multi‑temperature environment focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety.

Established in 2006, QCD is a subsidiary of GSF. We deliver approximately 37,000 deliveries per week from 25 strategically located distribution centers and provide logistics services to thousands of restaurants.

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols

• Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred

• Valid forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation
• Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
• Use a voice‑directed picking system (VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders

• Shift start time: 4:00 am
• Full‑time, on‑site in a temperature‑controlled warehouse (dry, cooler, freezer: –5 °F to 38 °F)
• Primarily a 5‑day work week
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

• $21.00 per hour
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
