Student Worker – Waubonsee Works (On Campus)

This position is a 12‑week Waubonsee Works Paid Work Experience (PWE). Waubonsee Works PWEs are funded by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, in conjunction with the Kane County Regional Office of Reinvestment. All applicants must be certified Waubonsee Works participants to be considered.

Paid Work Experiences last 12 weeks, with a maximum of 20 hours per week, and pay between US $13 and US $16 per hour. Participants are expected to arrive on time and appropriately attired for each scheduled shift. Grant assistance is available to help cover costs of attire and transportation.

Participants will be required to assist in Waubonsee Work events and workshops as directed by their Advisors and are expected to maintain passing grades in their classes during the experience.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a current participant of the Waubonsee Works Program. The application for the program can be found at https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). That application must be accepted prior to continuing this application for a PWE.
  • Ability to follow directions and pay close attention to details.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
