Responsibilities- Design syllabi, lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to meet the established course description and program learning outcomes, while addressing diverse student needs.
- Meet all college deadlines for attendance, grades, and data collection for assessment of student learning.
- Incorporate learning‑centered principles and concepts to motivate students to actively participate in their educational experiences.
- Integrate instructional and classroom technology, where applicable, effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with professional colleagues to serve the needs of students and the community.
- Model professionalism with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Master's degree in Art or a related field with 18 graduate hours in Music.
- Teaching music or a related field at a community college or vocational/technical institution.
- Experience teaching traditional underserved populations.
- Experience incorporating technology and multimedia applications into teaching and learning processes.
- Experience teaching in multiple instructional modalities.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems.
