Job Summary

Our client is a leading engineering services firm located in the western suburbs of Chicago, IL that specializes in serving the communities we work and live in. Due to their commitment to excellence, solid client relationships, and industry leading technical expertise, they are rapidly growing. They are seeking a Senior Wastewater Engineer to support their projects, including a variety of planning, design, and construction projects involving water supply, water treatment, wastewater conveyance, wastewater treatment and Infiltration and Inflow (I / I) studies.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Participate on project teams
  • Report to a group’s Project Manager and high-level management
  • Prepare water and wastewater system reports
  • Design water supply, water treatment, pump stations and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Provide construction phase engineering services for water and wastewater projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Have a minimum of five (5) – seven (7) years of design and construction engineering experience on water and wastewater systems
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) (strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain one)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid driver’s license
