Base Pay: $15.00/hr - $17.50/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service at the register.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits such as greeting, eye contact and courtesy, and Walgreens service traits such as proactive help and identifying needs.
• Recommend items for sale, trade‑ups, and companion items to customers.
• Process customer purchases, handle cash, returns, exchanges, voids, and refunds.
• Maintain counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, and keep inventory records; check, price, and stock merchandise per store policies.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcohol and tobacco.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal and sale merchandise; perform resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with food separation and product placement; rotate stock using first‑in, first‑out methods for consumable items.
• Use store systems and equipment proficiently.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo and poster print services, and suggest promotional photo products.
• Execute web pick‑up responsibilities: monitor orders, fill items, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive.
• Participate in exterior and interior maintenance to keep the store neat and orderly.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful coworker relationships.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training and complete performance‑based learning plans (PPLs) requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingly work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
