Semi Driver

Base pay range

$22.00/hr - $26.00/hr

Every detail matters to us, including the safe and timely transportation. Our drivers are responsible for transporting Yamaha golf cars to our customers and other locations all while providing excellent customer service.

• Drive and operate a manual transmission truck with trailer to make deliveries and/or pickups
• Follow routes and navigation as required
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading position
• Load and unload trailer, ensuring that all golf cars are safely secured
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all equipment
• Promptly report any issues with equipment, deliveries, violations, incidents or accidents
• Perform trip inspections and electronic log keeping
• Additional duties as assigned

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• CDL Class A license with suitable driving history
• Preemployment DOT drug screen and random drug and/or alcohol screens as requested
• Maintain possession of current CDL Medical Exam Card
• Adherence to all policies and procedures of Harris Golf Cars, DOT regulations and state/local laws

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to drive long hours and travel regularly, load and unload trailers in various weather conditions, and inspect vehicle supplies and equipment. The employee is frequently required to crouch, kneel, climb, crawl, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls and lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

7 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends in the busy season, must be flexible to work hours outside of 7‑5 pm if needed.

$22‑26 per hour with a $1,000 sign‑on and retention bonus.
