Responsibilities of an Assistant Teacher include:

• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Empathy and compassion for young children
• Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for child safety and program facilitation; for Infant and Toddler Teachers, ability to lift infants into and out of cribs
