Our client in the industrial solutions space is hiring an Engineer to join their team near Sugar Hill, GA. You will execute a variety of consumer-facing product development projects end-to-end and support launches, testing, and quality/production issues on existing products. Our client is looking for someone with hands-on product design/development experience with CAD/3D design software skills (i.e. Solid Works, etc.). This role is hands-on with cross-functional teams, vendors, and (at times) customers.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a variety of consumer-facing product development projects through full lifecycle
  • Gather design inputs from sales and customers
  • Engage vendors to assess feasibility and manufacturability
  • Create 3D models and drawings in Solid Works
  • Support pilot builds and product launches
  • Perform basic testing in the R&D shop
  • Troubleshoot quality and production issues on current products
  • Document designs, test results, and changes clearly
  • Coordinate tasks, milestones, and status with your lead
  • Collaborate across engineering and peer teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Hands-on product design/development experience required
  • Proficiency with CAD/3D design software (Solid Works or similar) required
