LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well-known construction group in Sugar Land, TX to hire a contract Accounts Payable Specialist for 6 months on a hybrid schedule. The opportunity is paying $24-$26 per hour, depending on experience. The Accounts Payable specialist will be responsible applying PO's to invoices, processing 1099's, and working with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle AP process: invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with IRS regulations by preparing and filing 1099 forms.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Proven AP experience, including 1099 processing and vendor management.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
