Job Description & How to Apply Below
We’re looking for a powerhouse Creative Director to lead the full spectrum of content creation and creative direction for a fast-growing, women‑led athletic apparel brand. This role is for someone with sharp leadership instincts, deep experience in product marketing (ideally apparel or CPG), and a bold creative voice that can guide, inspire, and execute at the highest level. You’ll own creative planning for the year, oversee campaign execution, and ensure every asset – from photoshoots to social content – is aligned with the brand’s mission.
Responsibilities- Own the annual creative vision and content roadmap for all brand campaigns and product launches (new launches every 4‑6 weeks)
- Conceptualize, plan, and oversee creative direction across photography, videography, graphic design, and campaign storytelling
- Maintain a cohesive brand narrative across all channels, ensuring creative work reflects company values and vision
- Lead and grow the internal and external creative teams – including eComm creatives, videographers, designers, and editors
- Delegate responsibilities, maintain clear timelines, and manage production schedules (photoshoots, editorial calendars, asset deliveries)
- Foster a vibrant, inclusive, and high‑performing creative culture
- Manage freelance vendor relationships and find best‑in‑class talent when needed
- Collaborate with operations, product, and marketing to align creative with go‑to‑market strategy and launch timelines
- Ensure all assets are on‑brand and optimized for their channel (eComm, paid, organic, influencer, print, etc.)
- Partner with the marketing team to build campaigns that blend brand storytelling with product performance
- Manage creative budgets, timelines, and approvals
- Oversee quality control on final assets to ensure they meet aesthetic and strategic goals
- Own asset management, keeping all creative work organized and accessible
- 5+ years of experience in creative leadership roles, preferably within apparel, wellness, or lifestyle CPG
- Experience marketing physical products and leading multi‑disciplinary creative teams
- Strong understanding of lighting, photography, and video – able to communicate with production teams fluently
- Obsessed with social media and trends, with a pulse on what’s performing across platforms
- Comfortable leading meetings, making decisions, and providing feedback with clarity and care
- Highly organized and efficient
- Creative and strategic – you think in campaigns, not just content
- Passionate about empowering women through intentional design and storytelling
- Fully covered health insurance
- Unlimited PTO (we trust you to get the job done)
- Paid maternity leave
- 401(k) with company support
