Product Cost Optimization Lead; Chemicals - Sugar Land, TX

Job Description Are you passionate about Supply Chain? Do you like collaborating across teams to deliver success for customers? Join our Chemicals team! As a Product Cost Optimization Lead, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities

• Lead in depth product cost analysis and identification of supply chain cost optimization opportunities.
• Project management:
  Influence on all levels of the organization to drive completion of optimization opportunities.
• Redesign processes as required.
• Effective communication with other functional areas required. Influencing peers to meet the objectives.
• Handles work requiring detailed analysis and interpretation.
• Provide cost and pricing analytics estimation support on active bids.
• Monitor completed bids:
  Develop KPI’s, measurement system and related dashboards.
• Drive innovative process improvement.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, or Finance).
• Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Sales-Bid Support, Product Cost Analysis and/or Supply Chain Optimization.
