The Role

As a Jr. Industrial Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and development of innovative products that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements. You will collaborate closely with senior designers, engineers, and production teams to translate concepts into detailed design solutions that are manufacturable and cost‑effective. Your work will contribute to enhancing product usability, sustainability, and market appeal, ensuring alignment with company standards and customer expectations.

This role requires a balance of creativity and technical knowledge to iterate designs based on feedback and testing results. Ultimately, your contributions will help drive the successful launch of new products that strengthen the company’s competitive position in the market.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, or Rhino.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Procreate.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and creativity.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with rapid prototyping techniques and tools.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and eco‑friendly materials.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Key Shot, and other 3D software.
  • Internship or prior work experience in a manufacturing or product design setting.
  • Understanding of ergonomic principles and human factors in design.

  • Assist in creating detailed 3D models, sketches, and prototypes of product designs using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing to refine product concepts and ensure feasibility.
  • Conduct research on materials, manufacturing processes, and market trends to inform design decisions.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and documentation for design reviews and project updates.
  • Participate in user testing and incorporate feedback to improve product functionality and aesthetics.
  • Maintain organized records of design iterations, specifications, and project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the design process.
