Join Chess Wizards, Inc to teach elementary students in an after‑school enrichment program. This side‑hustle offers competitive pay and flexible hours.

Sugar Land, TX (must reside in area or relocate at own expense).

• Pay: $50‑$60 per class (approximately 1.5 hours per session)
• Schedule:
  
  Teach 1‑5 classes per week on weekday afternoons (2:00‑5:00 PM)
• Travel:
  Mileage reimbursement for trips over 15 miles one‑way (30 miles roundtrip)

• Lead engaging chess classes for 10‑15 elementary students.
• Use the structured curriculum to teach fundamentals and promote sportsmanship.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
• Encourage problem‑solving, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Follow school safety protocols, including supervision during arrival, dismissal, and in‑class activities.
• Travel to local school sites for each session.
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to engage students.

• Experience working with groups of children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp counseling, or similar).
• Comfort leading a class independently and creating interactive, friendly, and fun sessions.
• Professional, positive, and kid‑friendly demeanor.
• Genuine desire to be a positive role model and promote good sportsmanship.
• Strong grasp of chess fundamentals and ability to explain concepts age‑appropriate.
• Reliable personal transportation and ability to drive between locations.
• Availability on weekday afternoons (2:00‑5:00 PM) to teach 1‑5 classes per week.
• Commitment to implementing school safety protocols to protect students’ well‑being.
• Strong punctuality and time‑management skills.
