Live-in Home Caregiver - Weekend Only (Friday‑Sunday, 7 am‑7 pm)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated weekend caregiver to join our family in providing comprehensive care and companionship for an elderly couple. This is a weekend‑only position with shifts from Friday to Sunday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (two 12‑hour shifts, 24 hours per week). The ideal candidate will be empathetic, patient, and capable of fostering a warm and supportive environment. You will play a crucial role in meeting their physical needs while enhancing their emotional well‑being through companionship and engaging activities.

• Personal Care:
  Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance:
  Provide support with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair or vice versa, walking, and exercising.
• Medication Management:
  Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions.
• Meal Preparation:
  Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Housekeeping:
  Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up living spaces.
• Companionship:
  Engage in meaningful conversations, accompany on outings, and participate in recreational activities.
• Transportation:
  Assist with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.
• Monitoring Health:
  Keep track of any changes in health conditions and report concerns to appropriate medical professionals or family members.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records of care provided, including medication administration, vital signs, and daily activities.
• Emergency Response:
  Be prepared to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, including administering first aid and contacting emergency services if necessary.

• Experience:
  
  Previous experience in caregiving, preferably in a similar live‑in or in‑home role.
• Certification: CPR and first aid certification preferred.
• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to assist with lifting, bending, and other physical tasks associated with caregiving, including helping a client in and out of a vehicle.
• Computer Savvy:
  Comfortable with typing, navigating websites, and following simple AI or online prompts for communication, scheduling, or documentation.
