Invasystems is looking for an experienced AVEVA PI Engineer to drive the design, deployment, integration, and optimization of AVEVA PI (formerly OSIsoft PI) systems.

The position requires strong expertise in industrial data infrastructure and real-time data ecosystems, with the ability to translate operational needs into reliable, scalable technical solutions. Experience in Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Energy, and Utilities will be an added advantage.

• Location: Remote (India)
• Shift Timing: 2 PM – 11 PM IST
• Employment Type: Full-time

• Design and implement AVEVA PI System architectures, including PI Server, PI AF (Asset Framework), PI Vision, and PI Interfaces.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of PI infrastructure.
• Lead end-to-end PI system projects, scoping, planning, development, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Integrate PI Systems with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and related industrial control systems using PI Interfaces and Connectors.
• Develop and maintain AF hierarchies, Event Frames, analytics, and PI Vision dashboards.
• Ensure accurate and timely data acquisition, aggregation, and visualization.
• Monitor performance, ensure uptime, and maintain data integrity across systems.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis.
• Support Industry 4.0 and digital transformation initiatives.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and compliance-related records.
• Adhere to organizational policies and delivery standards.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• 4–7 years of hands-on experience with AVEVA PI System.
• Strong scripting skills (Power Shell, VBScript, Python).
• Familiarity with industrial protocols such as SQL, MQTT, OPC, Modbus, etc.
• AVEVA (OSIsoft) PI certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud-hosted PI System deployments (e.g., Azure) is preferred.
• Working knowledge of PI Integrators (Business Analytics, Cloud Integrator).
