Desktop Support Technician

Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Desktop Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, good communication abilities, and a passion for helping users resolve technical issues efficiently.

+ Provide first- and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

+ Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals

+ Troubleshoot operating systems (Windows/macOS), applications, and network connectivity issues

+ Respond to help desk tickets and service requests in a timely manner

+ Assist with user account management (password resets, access permissions, email setup)

+ Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance

+ Document issues, resolutions, and procedures clearly

+ Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors when necessary

Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT preferred)

+ 1-3 years of experience in desktop or technical support (or equivalent training)

+ Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (macOS knowledge is a plus)

+ Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts

+ Excellent customer service and communication skills

+ Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team
