Junior Attorney

You will work closely with our senior partners and associates, conduct legal research, draft documents, and maintain client files. • Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
• Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff
• Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients
• Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
• Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys
• Serve as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation, in addition to supporting senior attorneys for the preparation of the same
• Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
• Interview clients, supporting witnesses, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to collect information
• Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly

• Solid communication skills and problem‑solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys
• Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
• Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
• Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam
• Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
• One year of personal injury litigation or trial experience is required
• Texas license to practice law and State Bar Association membership are required
