Chemical Technician

Overview

BEYOND International Inc. is seeking a Lab Assistant/Chemical Technician for our Chemical & Quality Department. The assistant/technician will support production, product quality control testing, regular lab and production instrument maintenance, etc.

• Assist the Lead Chemist and Chemical Engineer in new product research and development (R&D).
• Prepare samples for Quality Control tests, complete testing records, maintain protocols, SOPs, test reports and related documents, and practice good documentation.
• Inspect and track the stability of raw materials, R&D products and finished products.
• Work safely and maintain a clean work area in accordance with production requirements and standard lab practices (May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs).
• Maintain the raw material inventory and monthly usage.
• Maintain lab equipment and perform test apparatus verifications/calibrations.
• Effectively communicate with colleagues, customers and outside vendors.

• Have a legal job status in the United States (H1B sponsored if approved by supervisor).
• Chemistry or related degree preferred (0-2 years experience required).
• Attention to quality including familiarity with ISO 13485 concepts.
• Familiar with production environment and laboratory procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to conduct literature searches independently or as instructed.
• Team oriented, self-motivated and flexible to working overtime when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

• Familiarity with ISO 13485 concepts and procedures.
