HIRING IMMEDIATELY: PRODUCTION ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN IN SUGAR LAND, TX
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Production Engineering Technician to join our team in Sugar Land, Texas. This individual will be responsible for operating production equipment, troubleshooting minor machine issues, supporting engineers with process improvements, and helping maintain product quality and production uptime. The ideal candidate will possess manufacturing or technical experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced precision production environment.
Pay,Schedule, and Location
- $18-$24/hour pay rate
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- Many shifts available
- Thursday – Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday – Sunday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Monday – Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- Monday – Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Monday-Wednesday (OFF Thu Fri Sat) and Sunday| 7:00 AM – 7:00PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Located in Sugar Land, Texas
- Operate and monitor automated production equipment
- Perform machine setup, calibration, and basic adjustments
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical, electrical, or process issues
- Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
- Support engineers with equipment testing, failure analysis, and process improvement activities
- Inspect and rework products/components as needed
- Maintain accurate production logs and documentation
- Follow all safety procedures, cleanroom protocols, and work instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist production teams and provide operator support when needed
- Vocational training or Associate Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, equipment operation, or technician experience required
- Semiconductor, electronics, photonics, or cleanroom manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience troubleshooting automated equipment or production machinery preferred
- Comfortable using hand tools, microscopes, and measurement equipment
- Basic computer skills including Excel and data entry systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and quality standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced production environment
- Standing for extended periods may be required
