Overview

USPI Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Pre‑OP PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN Pre‑OP/PACU will provide safe, effective, and quality patient‑family centered care in the peri‑operative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre‑OP/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization and reports to the Manager of Peri‑operative Services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality patient care using the nursing process and medical plan of care.
  • Support peri‑operative services for a variety of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, and Urology.
  • Maintain aseptic techniques and adapt quickly to changes in patient condition.
  • Collaborate with staff, patients, and physicians to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • 1–3 years of previous experience in Pre‑OP/PACU.
  • Hospital ER or Pre‑Op experience required.
  • Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certification.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
