** Duties/Responsibilities
*** Manage and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure product consistency and performance.
* Lead the QC Inspector Team to verify product quality and ensure adherence to specifications.
* Supervise the Quality Lab through the Lab Supervisor; support product qualifications, testing protocols, and trial validations.
* Investigate customer complaints and internal nonconformances; identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.
* Maintain quality documentation, specifications, and control plans.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Participate in customer visits and technical reviews related to product quality.
* Evaluate supplier performance and provide input on material quality concerns.
* Perform other related duties as assigned by the President to support quality initiatives.
** Education and Experience
*** Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field required.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality and manufacturing management.
* Experience in food packaging or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
** Required Skills/Abilities
*** Strong leadership and team development skills.
* In-depth knowledge of quality systems, product testing, and process control.
* Effective project management and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management tools.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve complex quality issues.
** Physical Requirements
*** Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
* Frequent walking throughout the production floor to monitor quality activities and support operations.
* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
* Ability to wear required PPE and work in manufacturing environments as needed.
