We have an immediate opening for an Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team located in Sugar Land, Texas.
AboutThe Role
The Inside
Sales Representative is the initial point of customer contact responsible for providing both pre- and post-sales support, including answering customer questions about products, applications, pricing, and delivery, as well as producing quotations and follow-up to quote conversion.
The role calls for the ability to provide customers with in-depth product knowledge and exceptional services, to help them formulate a purchase decision.
What You Will Do includes the following, but not limited to:- Responsible for application review, development, and validation of proposals for OMNI products and services.
- Work with domestic and international customers through question-and-answer processes to determine solutions to meet their needs.
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate products by evaluating their needs, product specifications, company guidelines, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Ability to self-manage workload and prioritize with general supervision.
- Perform order entry and follow-ups with Customer.
- Provide periodic reports to Management.
- Associate degree (AA) with Technical and Business focus.
- 2 (two) years related technical experience. Extensive experience in lieu of education can be considered.
- Technical and electronic knowledge is strongly desired.
- Experience in Customer Service or a related field.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in English language. Proficiency in Spanish and other foreign languages is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft PC Office suite software.
- Knowledge of customer databases, or a CRM/ ERP systems such as netsuite is desired.
