We are currently seeking a
** LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
** for our corporate Sugar Land, Texas office location. In this position, the Logistics Coordinator handles the logistical processing of customer orders, including coordination with vendors, warehouse, and shippers. Additional responsibilities include arranging and tracking shipments along with other transportation and warehousing functions.## ## Type:
Onsite 5 days a week, no remote or hybrid## ##
** General responsibilities include but are not limited to:*** ## Coordination of transportation for raw and finished goods* ## Maintains transportation and distribution procedures to ensure efficiency* ## Selects appropriate methods to minimize costs and maximize customer satisfaction* ## Run reporting on carrier information* ## Approve invoices## ##
** The ideal candidate shall possess the following:*** ## 3+ years' experience in logistics or traffic coordination.* ## Air and Ocean International Experience preferred* ## Proven ability to write and speak in an effective and professional manner.* ## The flexibility to work on different projects from day to day in an organized manner.* ## Liaise extensively with Customer Service, Sales and other administrative departments.
* ##
Experience with Microsoft Excel.* ## Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.* ## Able to manage and reply daily to all emails as a main source of communication.## ##
