Receiving Clerk

The Receiving Clerk will receive inventory, perform inspections and maintain warehouse integrity.

• Receive products from vendor deliveries.
• Unload shipments from delivery truck / Container.
• Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
• Accurately inspect incoming materials and supplies (qty, PNs, verify that product /material is in good condition).
• Complete inspections of finished goods in accordance with QMS and all relevant specifications / DWGs.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; entering data into quality database.
• Assist the Quality Engineer on reworking of parts as per specs when required.
• Maintain receiving records in accordance with Amran Procedures.
• Maintain Incoming Inspections Records in accordance with Amran Procedures.
• Reports any receiving discrepancies to Purchasing and / or to immediate supervisor.
• Release the receiving items to the appropriate departments.
• Initiate and maintain positive interaction between quality, production, office personnel and warehouse.

• Maintain safe and clean work environment.

• Follow all Amran procedures, practices rules and safety requirements.
• Follow Amran guidelines and policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by staff and supervision.
• Other duties as assigned

• A high school diploma, or equivalent.
• 1-2 years' experience in warehousing.
• Experience with operating Forklifts preferably

• Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
• Good computer skills and ability to use various Microsoft products (e.g. Excel, Access, Word etc…)

• Ability to move around the facility.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
