Position: Analyst II with Security Clearance
Overview ANALYST II (NHTSA):
Bowhead is seeking an Analyst II to support the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in Washington, DC. This position requires significant contributions in support of the Special Crash Investigations (SCI) and the Crash Investigation Division (CID). Responsibilities
* Tracking of cases through the quality control process
* Minor quality control duties
* Generating ad hoc reports for the SCI team leader.
* Various administrative support duties aligned with CID strategic goals, mission, and potential expansion of CISS and CRSS Primary Sampling Units during the period of performance. Qualifications
* B.S. degree preferred.
* Two (2+) years of experience.
* High skill levels in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
* Extensive experience developing presentations and writing technical reports.
* Experience or aptitude to work with one or more of the following:
* Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS)
* Crash Investigation Sampling System (CISS)
* Crash Reporting Sampling System (CRSS)
* Motor vehicle crash-related data files, including data from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Census Bureau, and R.L. Polk.
* Skills in applying fact-finding and investigative techniques.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Experience analyzing reasonably complex programs. Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically SECURITY

CLEARANCE REQUIRED:

Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. A minimum of three (3) years US residency, or US Citizenship, is required for a Public Trust clearance at this location. #LI-KC1
