ResponsibilitiesV2X’s National Security Solutions (NSS) has an immediate opportunity for an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Publicly Available Information (PAI) Trainer with a background in adult‑education within the military or Intelligence Community. The candidate will provide OSINT related training (in‑person and virtual), skill development education, and tool specific instruction in both formal and ad hoc environments. Specific responsibilities may include:
- Conduct OSINT Fundamentals course training at least monthly, spanning several days and containing up to 40 attendees.
- Conduct OSINT tool and tradecraft training as required.
- Provide desk‑side assistance/training, tailored small‑group discussions and work‑center training.
- Conduct “Cornerstone” OSINT training modules quarterly.
- Conduct “ONI Indoc” OSINT training modules every other week, providing new‑hire employees (Military, Government, and Contractors) an introduction to OSINT research, collections, and analysis trends, tradecraft, and capabilities.
- Conduct and assist Government team members with the development of new and update/refresh of existing OSINT training classes, courses, and instructional sessions, including the planning and leading of workshop discussions (or “brownbag”) sessions on OSINT techniques, tools, and tradecraft (at least 10 one‑hour sessions annually).
- Research current issues up to TS/SCI to supplement existing material with lessons learned and current events, especially as they apply to changes in the OSINT community or in the global digital communications infrastructure.
- Create, maintain, and deliver course material, including handouts, audiovisual presentations, training and classroom environments, and coordinate training feedback.
- Provide a classroom environment that promotes learning that is free from hostile incidents and report discipline problems with attendees to the Technical Assistant (TA) or OSINT Tradecraft Manager.
- Perform Open Source/PAI research while applying appropriate tradecraft and Operations Security (OPSEC) using a managed attribution system.
- Conduct training instruction of Government‑provided or contractor‑approved OSINT course material that includes the use of OSINT collection tools, OSINT tradecraft, and OSINT techniques.
- Prepare training environments prior to course provision and return training environments to ready state upon completion.
- Coordinate with ONI OSINT Tradecraft Manager to facilitate logistics, administration, training outcomes, and post‑course evaluations.
- Maintain awareness about trends and developments in OSINT collection, DoD OSINT policies, and the global digital communications infrastructure.
Material & Equipment Directly Used:
Workstations on classified and unclassified networks; MS Windows OS; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, Outlook), MS Teams, Managed Attribution system/program, Adobe and additional software provided by the Government.
Working Environment:
The OSINT PAI Trainer will perform work at a Government facility in an office environment at the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC) or other Government‑approved locations.
