CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Dev Sec Ops Engineer (Level
2) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dev Sec Ops practices, cloud security, and IT security. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and enterprise security design within cloud environments.
- Dev Sec Ops Implementation:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git Lab. - Infrastructure as Code:
Develop and manage IaC templates to ensure consistent and secure cloud infrastructure deployments. - Scripting and Automation:
Write and maintain scripts in Python or Shell to automate security processes and enhance operational efficiency. - Security Integration:
Embed security practices into the Dev Ops workflow, ensuring that security is an integral part of the development process. - Cloud Security:
Apply enterprise security design principles to cloud environments, including AWS and Kubernetes. - Incident Response:
Participate in incident response activities, identifying and mitigating security threats in real‑time. - Compliance and Audits:
Ensure that all Dev Sec Ops practices comply with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. - Collaboration:
Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to foster a culture of shared responsibility for security.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related STEM field. - Experience:
3-5 years of experience in Dev Sec Ops or IT security, with a focus on cloud environments.
TS/SCI
Technical Skills- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
- Knowledge of enterprise security design and incident response for cloud environments.
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
- Security+
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with security scanning tools (e.g., Sonar Qube, Checkmarx).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay RangeThe proposed salary range for this position is:
$79,400 - $162,700
