Job SummaryThe Software Developer will be responsible for design, development and testing of software applications or specialized software utility programs. The Software Developer will design software or enhance/customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency in accordance with established functional, operational and specification requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop and implement new software applications based on business needs
- Evaluate, maintain, update, modify and improve the performance of existing applications
- Collaborate with rest of the team to ensure applications align with organizational goals
- Find solutions to security threats, viruses or errors that might hinder the performance of applications
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to enhance user experience
- Integrate applications with APIs and databases
- Perform code reviews and optimize application performance
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues and performance bottlenecks
- Work closely with QA to ensure software quality
- Develop technical handbooks to represent the design and code of new applications
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology/systems or equivalent.
- Experience working Dev Sec Ops environment.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining Dev Sec Ops and CI/CD pipelines
